Stephen and his lovely wife of more than 20 years, Gloria Mary (whom he calls Gloria), are founders of St. Raphael's Recovery, a spiritual 12 step recovery resource. They are a happily married couple, which they personally owe to God's love and mercy and to the richness and beauty of their Catholic faith.

A BIT ABOUT STEPHEN

Stephen has more than 25 years of experience with dealing with friends in recovery. He also has two advanced degrees in Catholic theology from Catholic seminaries and a BA from an academically reputable Catholic university.

Stephan has taught theology at a Catholic seminary, as well as in Catholic high schools. He has even taught philosophy at several colleges and universities, and has previously written articles for Catholic magazines and publishing houses.

GLORIA'S LEVEL OF EXPERTISE

Gloria has a BA in French and Spanish and has an international banking background. After that, she was asked by a senior-level partner at a very prestigious law firm to work for him, and she enjoyed that position, assisting him for several years as well.

THEIR FAMILY

Stephen and Gloria have done everything within good reason to bring up their sons in the Roman Catholic faith. Their first son was born within the first year or so of their marriage, and their second son was born shortly after him. They both are currently in good colleges, achieving good academic standards, and are very social.

A number of years ago, they decided to enrich their education within a dedicated Catholic framework. Gloria home schooled both boys for five years, and they also ensured their social and sport acumen by encouraging them in all sports, extracurricular programs, and social networks. Stephen was a coach on some of their sports teams.
